The Hunter Valley Wine Show is one of the leading regional wine shows in Australia.
One of the first wine shows in Australia was held in the Hunter Valley in 1848 and the Hunter Valley Wine Show has been held continuously since 1973.
The Hunter Valley Wine Show attracts the highest calibre of Australian and International judges and continues to be an innovative, progressive show. The introduction of Riedel glasses and a rigorous auditing system are some of the many facets that ensure the Hunter Valley Wine Show remains the pre-eminent regional Wine Show.

Whilst it is disappointing to have to postpone our Wine Show due to the current CoVid restrictions,
we are pleased to provide you with some information regarding the new proposed dates.
The 2021 Hunter Valley Wine Show is now scheduled to be judged Monday 25th – Wednesday 27th
We understand that some producers may have some wines that were not eligible for the original
closing date of entries, but have since been bottled. As such, we have reopened Showrunner to
cater for any additional entries.

By 20th October Delivery any new /additional Entries of exhibits to First Creek
We are hoping that the Exhibitors tasting will be possible on Thursday 28th October, but this will be
confirmed or otherwise closer to the date as we follow the latest COVID developments in line with
our plan to run the show in accordance with our COVID safe plan.
The format and the date for the Celebration Luncheon and Awards Presentation will also be
confirmed closer to the time of judging.
